Bishmezzine is located in the
El-Koura region at an average height of 275m from sea level and at a
distance of 70km from Beirut through Chekka- Kafarhazir. Its area
is 544 hectares. Bishmezzine is surrounded by Afisdeek and Fih from the
north, Bterram from the east,
Amioun from
the south and Kafarhazir from
the west, El-Koura district is huge olive plains which "may" could be
the largest in the world. this is not proved or
documented, but they are such gigantic
that these plains could be perceived from far as a green sea.
